Love and family in every grain
Since the early 1900s, our family has been farming the lands along the banks of the Po, in the territories of Zerbo, Spessa and San Zenone al Po. The area has been reclaimed over the centuries by the hard work of farmers and, thanks to the abundance and widespread distribution of irrigation water, is able to return agricultural products of the highest quality and tasting.
The production
Berneri rice is the result of the experience of three generations.
It is produced in limited quantities and subjected to a very strict selection: only 60% of the raw rice is being packaged.
A modern optical reader filters the intact grains and the ones with the best coloration, to ensure fine quality and uniformity in ripening.
Our production is based on ancient methods complying with the seasons and soil features.
The fields where our seeds grow have been carefully selected in order to have best exposure to the sun, with limited thermal shock.
